Who is the greatest and who should hold the greatest power of authority? The greatest among you should be the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves (Luke 22:26).
“Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven ( Mathew 18:3).
These are the times that the bible introduces children to a scene involving Jesus and his disciples and the lessons are thus,
First, the kindness shown to the little children is the gateway into the kingdom of God and he who welcomes the vulnerable and the weakest of the world welcomes Jesus.
Second, the simplicity of children, their humility and love is the model and the rule for everyone who desires an inheritance in the kingdom of God.
May we obtain the grace to think like children, trust and surrender to God like them and be welcomed by God like Jesus did, Amen 🙏
