King George says that
the highest of distinctions is service to others. But I say that the highest of distinctions is service to kings.
‘Kings’ in this context are simply those who want the best for you and are willing to support you through it. Those who can listen to you and hold your hand when you need them.
There’s a big difference between serving ‘others’ and serving ‘kings’. If serving ‘others’ has kept you stagnant year in and year out, then it’s time to change your master and serve kings. Who do you serve?
Joseph interpreted the dream of the wine server and remained the same. He interpreted the dream of the chief baker and still remained the same. But when he interpreted the dream of the king, his story changed automatically.
Whose dream do you interpret?
Dear children and young adults, who you serve matters. Who you work with matters. Who you share your vision with matters. Who you look up to matters. Who you listen to matters. Who holds your hand matters.
Why waste your youth on destiny wreckers. Choose who you serve. Ensure your skills and abilities are utilized in serving those that matter and those who can take you to your next level.
Don’t let your future get vandalised by people who don’t want your progress. Appraise your circle and your masters.
Check who you serve!
Your years of service may be short. Why elongate it by serving ‘others’ when you can serve ‘kings’?
