WHEN THE SEASON FINALLY CHANGED.

Have you ever poured yourself into something, time, energy, heart, and then waited, not knowing if it would ever pay off?

Maybe it wasn’t a literal harvest. Maybe it was a dream. A job. A relationship. Healing. That moment when you just needed something to change or to mature.

You did the work.
You showed up.
You prayed.
You kept going, even when nothing seemed to be happening.

And honestly, there were days you wanted to give up. Days when the silence was louder than any answer. When you wondered if your effort was just falling into the void.

But something in you held on. Maybe out of hope. Maybe out of stubbornness. Maybe out of faith. Maybe all.

And then, it came. Slowly, or maybe all at once. A breakthrough. A yes. A door opening. A return on all that unseen labour. The harvest. The reward. The season has changed at last!

The beauty of the moment isn’t just about the change of season. It is about you. What you’d grown into while you were waiting. The quiet strength. The patience. The trust. The tough skin. The faith. The understanding. The mindset.

The harvest came, but so did a deeper and better version of yourself. A version that makes you happier, prouder and more fulfilled.

Waiting is hard. It can feel endless. But sometimes, when it finally arrives, you see that it was never just about the outcome.
It was about everything that grew in you along the way.

So when the season finally changed, when the prayer is answered, the door opens and the promise is fulfilled. Remember, the waiting wasn’t a delay, it was a preparation. Don’t be glad only in the outcome but in everything that grew in you along the way.

More importantly, remember it’s not just by your efforts or your might. It was God’s grace, His mercy, His timing, His faithfulness.

May this second half of the year bring us a new season, new joy and new fulfilment. Amen 🙏
