The Grammys took place last Sunday, and Doechii (an American singer and rapper) went home with an award for her masterpiece album, Alligator Bites Never Heal. It was so amazing as she won the most popular award show for musical talent in the world.
But beyond this win is the story behind it. How Doechii was fired from her job five years ago and how she set a different course of action for herself to seek a job in many record labels.
Doechii did not allow her setback to derail her. She was committed to music, and today, she’s the third woman to ever win a Grammy in the Best Rap Album category.
