The Price Of A Gold
From a tender age,
she starts being molded into form
so as to withstand the storm
when finally let out of cage.
From time to time,
series of trials she undergoes.
But standing firmly on her toes,
she proves herself prime.
As life goes on,
experiences will teach her better.
Leaving behind a pace setter,
her legacy just begun.
There’s no doubt
the parents have forged a bride.
And they can say this with pride;
‘We have no tout’.
Before sunset
comes a man knocking.
Having seen what he is seeking,
he comes all set.
One shouldn’t be told,
we all have prices to pay.
In my honest say,
this is the price of a gold.
