There comes a point in life when you get tired of chasing everything, opportunities, people, validation, and the next thing you believe will finally make you feel settled.
For a long time, many of us think life only moves forward if we keep running after it.
But chasing can be exhausting.
Sometimes, the harder you run, the further things seem to move away. You begin to question yourself. Am I not doing enough? Am I not good enough?
Then, slowly, something changes.
You realize that not everything in life is meant to be chased. Some things are meant to be received.
Shifting from chasing to receiving does not mean you stop working hard. It simply means you stop acting from desperation.
Instead of forcing every door open, you focus on becoming the kind of person who is ready when the right doors open.
You still prepare.
You still show up.
But you also learn to trust timing.
Often, the best opportunities come through simple moments, conversations, consistency, or being ready when the moment arrives.
For children and young people, this is an important lesson. Dream big and work hard, but do not feel pressured to compete with everyone or compare your journey to others.
Focus on learning, building good character, and developing your talents.
Be curious, be kind, and keep growing. Ask for guidance from parents, teachers, and mentors when you need it.
Life is not a race where only the fastest wins. It is a journey where preparation, patience, and the right attitude open many doors.
When you understand this, you stop chasing everything in fear. Instead, you grow, you prepare, and stay open, ready to receive the opportunities and blessings that come your way.
