I’ll go first. Of all the businesses I’ve done and am doing, I find the visa business most fulfilling. Do you know why?
Beyond the joy of many successful outcomes of the applications we have done, is the joy of a long-term connection with clients. Apart from the few who get the service once and never return, it gives me joy to reconnect with most of our clients who come for visa renewal or referral.
It’s my 18 years in visa business and 15 years as self-employed. Imagine keeping some contacts for that long, knowing that they’re still alive and doing well in their respective world.
Yesterday, I got a call from a client I knew as far back as my Harvard days. My business card then was from Harvard but with my personal contact details. He still has the card, found me on WhatsApp, and reached out for business, after 18 years. Wow!
That’s one of the uniqueness of the service business. If you’re good, you get sought for anytime, no matter your location. But a good product can be bought from anywhere.
