Isaiah 61:3 promises us a crown of beauty for ashes, blessings for mourning, praise for despair, and joy for sorrow.
Ashes signify our human conditions of pain, disgrace, sorrow, shame, darkness, troubles, and grief.
But these destructive forces are not greater than God’s plan for us. In due time, he will replace them with the ornaments that yield blessings, joy and peace. God’s time table is usually perfect, complete and long-lasting.
Dear Parents, teachers and caregivers,
God can turn your struggles of today into a crown of beauty in future. Do your best to nurture the children under your care. Face the challenges, make the sacrifices and focus on the future. Sooner or later, your efforts will be replaced with blessings, your pain with purpose, and your grief with joy.
