YOUR STORY MATTERS, SO DOES YOUR SAFETY.

I want to begin with a simple truth, your story matters.

Every single one of us carries a story, made up of dreams, of laughter, of tears, and of moments that have shaped who we are. Some chapters shine with joy. Others are filled with pain, fear, or loss.

But no matter what your story looks like, you matter, and so does your safety.

Sometimes, life takes us through storms we never asked for. When love turns to hurt. When promises break. When someone who was supposed to protect us becomes the one who causes the most pain.

In those moments, it’s easy to feel small, to feel invisible, to feel like your voice doesn’t matter.

But it does.
You do!

Whether it’s speaking to a family member, a trusted friend, a reliable adult, or a support service, you deserve to be heard and kept safe.

You are not alone.
Your feelings are real.
Your safety is important.
And your story, every chapter, deserves care, respect, and protection.

To every young one, as you tell your story, don’t forget your safety. Safety is not just about walls and locks.

It’s about feeling safe within yourself, safe to speak, to dream, to be heard, to be loved without fear.

It’s about knowing that no one has the right to harm you, silence you, or make you feel small.

It’s about creating a world where everyone, every woman, man, and child, can live without fear.

So today, I want to remind you, if you are in a place where you don’t feel safe, please, reach out. There is help. There is hope. There is a way forward.

You are not alone.
You deserve protection.
You deserve peace.
You deserve to be free.
Your story matters, every page, every struggle, every victory.

But remember this too, your safety matters just as much. Because without safety, your story cannot flourish.

And when you choose safety, you give your story the chance to grow into something beautiful, strong, healed, and full of life.

So stand tall.
Speak up.
Seek help.

And never forget, your story matters, and so does your safety.

Thank you.
