FINDING HOPE IN LIFE UNCERTAINTIES.

If there’s one thing that’s certain in life, it’s the uncertainty of life. Both the certainties and uncertainties are inevitable parts of life. The ability to understand this lies in the experiences of the past, the positive and negative alike. These experiences are part of the natural ebb and flow of life.

Therefore, knowing how to live with uncertainty is the only certainty that we need to seek.

In life, we are either living in the moment or looking forward to the uncertainties ahead, and we’re wired to be triggered by feelings of fear in the face of uncertainty.

May we always be reminded that all things are in a constant state of change. Embracing this perspective would enable us to develop a sense of calm, adopt an attitude of submission, and cultivate a mindset of non-judgmental assumptions.

Without the elements of uncertainty, life would be dull, routine, and unsatisfying. To satisfy life, we must lean both on the imperfections that uncertainty brings and the satisfaction that certainty gives. Waiting to satisfy all the uncertainties may be too ambiguous or even too fake a reality.

In life, the ultimate challenge is
to accept the uncertainty in it, and the ultimate assurance lies in the fact that every bit of hope helps and that even though nothing is sure, with God, nothing is impossible.

Woe to me if I yield to life uncertainties at the expense of its certainties. I’ll never seize searching, never stop trying to live, to learn, and to grow. I’ll keep going, keep growing, and keep pushing, come what may.

I met God with total certainty, and certainly, He has given me the courage to persevere and anchor Him amid uncertainties and to trust in the confident expectations of His divine plan.

While looking back at the reality of the past years and imagining the uncertainties of this year 2025, we are faced with the fierce battle between fear and faith. May we always have the courage to accept uncertainty as much as we embrace certainty and may we always remember to submit to the perfect will of God who knows the beginning from the end and has promised to give us our expected end.
Amen.
